Tomorrow is the day that people say you should express your love for those who are important to you. I wanted to make it known to the whole world (or the 100 or so people who see this site daily) that I love my wife in a way that cannot be fully described in words. Instead of a gushy poem or a box of chocolates I thought I might say, “Thank You”, in the form of a letter. So here it is:

Thank You

Thank You for all that you do

Thank you for all that you have put up with

Thank you for choosing to spend your life with me

Thank you for making even my darkest days bright

Thank you for not leaving me

Thank you for each day you work to improve our lives

Thank you for the beautiful children you have given me

Thank you for the last 7 years

Thank you for being you.

Erin, without you in my life who knows where I would be. I would not be half the man I have grown to be. You have pushed me, taught me, held me, cared for me, and always expected me to do my best. You have seen me at my absolute lowest and hopefully you have yet to see me at my highest. For the two of us, the sky is the limit. You have given me more than I could ever express in a few lines of text. I love you. I love you so much it hurts. Happy Valentine’s Day.
