9-Volt batteries hide a little-known secret inside.

If you are ever in desperate need of power and all you have handy is a 9-Volt battery you are in luck. With needle-nose pliers, pry open the metal casing that surrounds the battery. Don’t panic, there are no dangerous chemicals inside. What you will find are six “AAAA” batteries that have a charge of 1.5 volts - the standard charge found in “AAA” batteries. When coupled with the small metal connector tabs also found inside the case, they will fit in a device that takes “AAA” batteries.
