Speaking of Guy Kawasaki (see previous post) here is a list he came up with that should be read by every would-be entrepreneur. Avoid using these lines!
- “Our projections are conservative.â€
- “(Big name research firm) says our market will be $50 billion in 2010.â€
- “(Big name company) is going to sign our purchase order next week.â€
- “Key employees are set to join us as soon as we get funded.â€
- “No one is doing what we’re doing.†/ “No one can do what we’re doing.â€
- “Hurry because several other venture capital firms are interested.â€
- “Oracle is too big/dumb/slow to be a threat.â€
- “We have a proven management team.â€
- “Patents make our product defensible.â€
- “All we have to do is get 1% of the market.â€
