Same thing here. Comcast in Tucson, AZ. Every night for the past week or so around 9PM. It always starts working again in the morning. It might have something to do with the torrent issue I guess. I am downloading ubuntu 7.10 release now and my router shows that it's "google" shutting the connection down due to no existing session. Strange thing that my ubuntu download is moving right along though. Maybe it's not a conspiracy by comcast but it sure smells fishy given how they're using man in the middle to slow down BT :)

XX.XX.XX.XXX = Me
64.233.167.99 = www.google.com

See below that the sessions are terminated because of No existing session.

warning	2007/10/26 22:27:53	firewall	No existing session:TCP, SRC=64.233.167.99:80, DST=XX.XX.XX.XXX:65107 , TCP Flags= RST, SEQ=2711231957, ACK=0

But the session is obviously started.

inform	2007/10/26 22:27:53	firewall	Start session:TCP, SRC=192.168.1.206:65107, DST=64.233.167.99:80, NAT=XX.XX.XX.XXX:65107

Who knows?

Same thing is happening in Ann Arbor, MI with Comcast. Goes out around 8pm for the past couple nights - im using a Dlink (DI-634m) router. None of the machines on my network can access google though i can ping it.
If i clear my private data in FireFox is seems like it will allow me to load google.com once and awhile but then it will break shortly thereafter.

Same thing happening here in St Paul, MN - Comcast Cable. It's been happening to all the computers in our house pretty much once a day for a couple weeks and lasts for hours. Very annoying!

Same problem here in Michigan. The first time it ever happened to me was 2 or 3 days ago after 9 or 10 p.m. After a few hours Google suddenly started working again. Tonight it happened after 10 p.m. or so and at 11:45 I still cannot connect to Google. I thought it was a virus for a while but I'm happy (?) to see that's not likely. I'm using Comcast too. . .

I had this same problem this evening, but since I am on a home network I was able to troubleshoot it a bit farther. For all the PC's on our network I use opendns.com for my DNS servers. But being the careful sort, I left a comcast DNS server as the primary. My computer was the ONLY computer, sharing the same router out that was affected, when I removed the Comcast DNS server and just used the opendns.com server it started working again.

I bet this is connected to Comcast experimenting with ways to limit some websites and speeds once net neutrality is gone. It is acting alot like what they are going in limiting Bit torrent, because the connection is being killed a reset not by a bad connection.
